Beaver Creek Closing Day 2025: What To Know

Published April 4, 2025

The final turns of the 2024–2025 ski season are almost here. Beaver Creek Resort is officially wrapping things up on Sunday, April 13, giving skiers and snowboarders one last shot to soak in the slopes before the lifts stop spinning.

Lift Status

Most major lifts—including Centennial Express and Cinch Express—will run through Closing Day from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. A few lifts, like Arrow Bahn, Bachelor Gulch, and McCoy Park Express, are set to close earlier on April 6. Always a good idea to check the official lift schedule before heading up.

On-Mountain Dining

If you're planning to make the most of the day, Spruce Saddle and Talons will be open on April 13. Talons will offer limited service with the patio grill and upstairs dining available. Great views, good food, and a front-row seat to the final laps of the season.

Weather Outlook

Here’s a quick look at the weather leading into Closing Day:

  • Friday: 42° / 15° — Cloudy with a passing shower

  • Saturday: 42° / 16° — Partly sunny

  • Sunday (Closing Day): 46° / 20° — Mild and partly sunny

  • Next week: Highs in the 50s, mostly clear and springlike

Expect classic spring skiing conditions—warm afternoons, soft snow, and blue skies breaking through the clouds. Ideal for that one last perfect run.

What’s Next?

While Beaver Creek wraps on April 13, nearby Vail Mountain is staying open until April 20, offering an extra week of spring skiing for anyone still chasing winter.

If you’re thinking about a last-minute trip, now’s the time. Limited availability left at Pop Art Villa for closing weekend. The slopes will be calling—just be ready to answer.
